Room Assignments
Dear Parents, It’s inevitable…summer is almost to its end. Before Promotion Sunday arrives on September 7th there is some very important information that we need you to know about in the Kids Ministry.Children in the Frogs, Monkeys, Leopards & Lions classes will promote. Please see the map enclosed to locate your child’s new classroom. We will have volunteers with “ASK ME” tags on, feel free to bug them! Our kids in the Raccoons, Owls and preschool classes promote according to their age….. Our 4th/5th grade class has already promoted last June. If your child is entering into the 4th grade and somehow missed the promotion, their classroom is located in 301/302. Our nametags have been a success for a couple years but in efforts to better our ministry, save space, and time for your family we are changing our system a bit. Thank you for joining with us in creating a safe and secure environment for our kids! And to our security guards who faithfully walk the halls on Sundays…a huge Thanks! Here is the jist of the changes:· Your children will still wear name badges in their classes. These nametags however will be kept inside the classroom from now on. · Beginning September 7th we will handing out new security tags for your family. Your new tags will be bundled just like your old ones. So look for them in your designated alphabetical bin. · You will be given 2 security cards and 2 security key tags. These are for you to share with the adults in your family that will be picking up your children from class. We’ve created the security cards as wallet-size so it is easier to carry around. (The key tags are another simplified way to have your security number with you.) Along with your tags will be a sheet of information that we have in our database for your family. Please take a look at it and leave it in our designated box on the nametag table w/ any necessary changes made. We would like to move our communication to emails in the future, so we need your help in updating things. · If you would like additional security cards for grandparents or relatives who will be picking up your children, please fill out a request form available at the Name Tag table. · Please be willing to show these cards to your child’s teacher when asked. It is for everyone’s safety. · And don’t forget to leave your child’s tag in their classroom each Sunday! If this isn’t clear or you have a question, please give us a call or email. We hope for a smooth transition these next several weeks and look forward to easier Sunday mornings for all of us. Thanks,Linda Ray
